The Acting Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Faithful A. Hope-Ivbaze has officially passed on her responsibilities to the newly appointed Director, Mrs. Obiageli Orah.
This handover marked Mrs. Orah as the substantive Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection.
Mrs. Hope-Ivbaze who was the former General Manager overseeing Protocol and Passages assumed the role of Acting Director due to the departure of the Managing Director and all Directors of the Authority, following a Federal government directive.
This directive dictated that the most senior officer in the department would assume leadership based on the civil service rules of the federation.
In addition to her Public Affairs role, Mrs. Hope-Ivbaze also handed over the Protocol and Passages department to Mrs. Christabel Eromosele, who will now take charge as she retires from active service upon reaching the age of 60.
The handover ceremony unfolded at the FAAN HQ, situated at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
