Earlier today, a Dana Air flight traveling from Abuja to Lagos encountered a runway mishap upon landing at the domestic terminal of the Lagos airport.
Despite the scare, all 83 passengers and crew aboard flight 5N BKI disembarked safely, thanks to the professionalism of the airline’s crew.
Kingsley Ezemwan, spokesperson for Dana Air, confirmed that the National Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) have been notified and are being kept updated on the situation.
The aircraft involved has been grounded for further investigation by the maintenance team.
In a statement, the airline expressed gratitude to the airport authorities and their crew for swiftly ensuring the safe disembarkation of all passengers.
They also apologized to those affected for any inconvenience caused and assured them of their commitment to safety.
Dana Air reiterated their cooperation with authorities in investigating the incident.
