The Management of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2, MMA2, operated by Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), reiterates its unwavering commitment to the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and visitors in and around the terminal.
BASL’s spokesperson, Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi in a statement, emphasized that MMA2 has a robust surveillance system, including CCTV cameras, which have proven instrumental in addressing customer complaints and theft claims effectively, ensuring a safe environment.
She said, recent months have seen MMA2 bolster its security infrastructure with additional measures, such as deploying highly trained security personnel and conducting Security Awareness Training for tenants and concessionaires.
These efforts, according to her, combined with existing CCTV surveillance, have significantly reduced alleged theft incidents, with comprehensive security measures aiding in identifying and apprehending criminals.
The focus BASL spokesperson said, remained on maintaining a secure environment, with ongoing enhancements to security protocols to counter evolving threats and foster safety for all stakeholders.
