Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku has been awarded the prestigious CEO of the Year Award by Air Transport Quarterly (ATQ) at the 4th Air Transport Industry Awards, 2025, held in Lagos. 

As the Trailblazing CEO, this recognition is an indication of her exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the aviation sector.

ATQ cited Kuku’s pioneering role as a female Managing Director of FAAN, emphasizing that she has “shattered glass ceilings and redefined the boundaries of leadership in the aviation sector.”
