The Acting Director General, Civil Aviation, Captain Chris Najomo, has praised the Women in Aviation International for their innovative approach to empowering young women in the aviation and aerospace industries through mentorship.
He gave the commendation during a recent visit by the group to the NCAA Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
Captain Najomo also expressed his commitment to supporting women in the aviation sector.
In her opening remarks, leader of the delegation, Ms. Susan Okewu, highlighted the Acting DGCA’s impressive achievements since taking office, noting that this is a promising sign of what he will accomplish in the future.
She appealed to the Federal Government to confirm Captain Chris Najomo as the substantive Director-General of Civil Aviation, Nigeria.
The group also offered condolences to Captain Najomo on the passing of his mother, Chief (Mrs) Bridget Najomo.
