
Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, has praised the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for its significant strides in enhancing aviation safety in the country.
During a courtesy visit to the Acting Director General, NCAA, Capt. Chris Najomo, in Abuja, Governor Zulum attributed the commendable progress to the visionary leadership and effective management of the agency.
The Governor said, the noticeable improvements in various aspects of the aviation sector since Captain Najomo took the helm is glaring, emphasizing the increased adherence to flight regulations and safety standards.
He noted that the NCAA’s efforts have instilled confidence in investors, attracting substantial investment into the Nigerian aviation industry.
“The remarkable developments we witness in the aviation sector on a daily basis are a direct result of the exceptional leadership provided by the NCAA,” Governor Zulum stated.
“Captain Najomo and his team have demonstrated a remarkable ability to steer the industry towards greater success.”
In response, commiserating with the governor over the recent flood incident in the state, Capt. Najomo reiterated the NCAA’s commitment to ensuring that the Nigerian aviation sector competes favorably on the global stage.
While stressing the importance of ease of doing business, he underscored that safety remains the paramount priority.
The two leaders also discussed areas of mutual interest and explored potential collaborations between Borno State and the NCAA.
