Mamaj Aviation Consult Limited is gearing up for its 7th annual conference in Lagos, Nigeria, on Friday, November 17th, 2023. This year’s conference, themed “THE CHALLENGES OF EXPLORING CAREERS IN THE AVIATION AND TRAVEL INDUSTRY,” will take place at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Annex, Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) at 9 am.
The event, led by Joy Ogbebo, aims to promote aviation career development advocacy, inspire young Nigerians to pursue aviation careers, and aligns with the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development’s agenda for human capacity development in the industry.
The conference brings together aviation stakeholders, training organizations, professionals, and aspiring aviators. It intends to introduce and mentor the next generation of aviation professionals, highlighting career opportunities, key skills, and the strategic role of aviators.
The platform facilitates networking, knowledge sharing, and connections with relevant training organizations.
With support from aviation agencies, corporate sponsors, airlines, and private backers, this non-profit initiative attracts a diverse group of professionals in aviation. The event features discussions, mentoring sessions, and ample networking opportunities.
The conference’s keynote speaker is Capt. Musa Nuhu, Director General, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, and the special guest speaker is Engr. Odunowo Tayib, MD/CE of NAMA.
Notable speakers include Dr. Kingsley Wokoma, President of Afarn, Mrs. Adenike Macaulay, CEO of Wakanow, Capt. Oluwole Fajobi, Line Training Capt. Bristow Helicopters, Engr. Dr. John Akwaji, CEO of Javi Group.
