Dana Air has proudly declares its endorsement of the One Million Man Walk and Pan African HeforShe Summit organized by the African Women in Leadership Organization (AWLO) on March 6th and 7th in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, in honor of International Women’s Day.

The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness and combat gender-based violence, a significant public health issue, emphasizing the importance of inclusive decision-making and the empowerment of women and girls.

Ememobong Ettete, Dana Air’s Chief Operating Officer, expresses gratitude for being recognized as a HeforShe Hero and Most Gender-Friendly Airline of the Year for 2023, aligning with AWLO’s values.

The AWLO conference, a pinnacle event for the organization, champions inclusive leadership, and Dana Air is honored to partake in this impactful occasion.

“As a gender-inclusive airline and a prominent player in Nigeria’s Aviation sector, Dana Air remains committed to fostering positive change and creating opportunities for women to excel. We enthusiastically support AWLO’s initiatives, believing in the collective power to drive positive transformation for women and girls.”

Ettete extends an invitation to customers, stakeholders, and the public to join the One Million Man Walk and engage in the AWLO conference, contributing to the ongoing dialogue and efforts toward a more inclusive society.
