AirPeace Commences Lagos-Accra-Lagos route

Nigeria’s fastest growing domestic airline,  AirPeace has commenced flight into the Kotoka international Airport in Ghana with the promise to give it’s esteemed passengers safety, comfort and value for their money.

The inaugural flight to Accra was marked with pomp and ceremonies with the cutting of a big cake bearing the name of the airline and it’s colour.
The event was graced by the Nigerian High commissioner to Ghana,  Mrs. Adekunbi Sonaike-Ayodeji, the Ghana CAA, AirPeace Ambassador, Nigerian Music star,  Kcee, it financial partner UBA the airline staff, passengers, Ghana media and their counterparts from Nigeria.
In her opening speech,  the Chief Operating Officer, COO,  Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide is built on the foundation of  love for father land and the need to contribute to the growth and the development of the industry and reduce unemployment.
She noted that this  has and will always be the determination of the chairman/CEO.
“Air Peace is a product of an undying determination to contribute to the development of society, offer hope to the hopeless and snatch able-bodied men and women from the jaws of crime. Many years ago, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Barr. Allen Onyema sought to take his passion for assisting members of the society to a new height. He decided to set up a venture to provide jobs for thousands of members of the society. He eventually settled for an airline after he was advised of its capacity to employ people in huge numbers”.
Mrs. Olajide stressed that “the project became a reality when the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority issued us an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) to commence flight operations in September 2014 and we started flight operations on October 24, 2014.
In just about 28 months of operation, your darling airline has experienced tremendous growth. We have not only given air travellers a refreshingly new choice, but have continued to distinguish ourselves with our excellent on-time departure record and high safety and maintenance standards”.
She added, “The launch of our Lagos-Accra-Lagos route opens a new chapter in our spectacular flight operations. We are quite hopeful that our great experience here will guide our plan to expand into other regional and international routes in the days and months ahead.
We consider it a great privilege to be given the opportunity to provide seamless air travel between Ghana and Nigeria and help individuals and businesses connect their destinations with ease. We promise not to lower the high standards we have been known for since we started operations. We are in Ghana to offer nothing but the best air travel experience and treat our customers with the greatest respect. We will continue to deepen the quality of our team in the days ahead. We will continue to honour our promise to place a non-negotiable premium on the comfort and safety of our valued customers”
Nigeria High Commissioner in Ghana, Mrs. Adekunbi Sonaike-Ayodeji, said Air Peace’s launch of its Lagos-Accra-Lagos route will strengthen the ties between Nigeria and Ghana and help to grow the air transport business between both countries.
“we are happy today because Airpeace has taken the bull by the horn to further help deepen the relationship between the two countries, they say Ghana is the gate way,  we say,  we are the destination. Airpeace has all its takes to do us proud and we are happy “.
The Lagos-Accra-Lagos route was operated with a Boeing 737-500 series aircraft on Thursday 16th February, 2017 with many passengers on board.
The flight is to be operated once a day 7days a week at a fare comfortable for passengers with the promise from the airline to work  tirelessly to provide the best flight experience on the Lagos-Accra-Lagos route.
