As Nigerians get set for sallah celebrations, domestic airline operators have promised to ensure that all passengers who booked their flights to travel for the period do so seamlessly.
This is just as the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) assures all airport users that Nigerian airports under its management are fully ready to play host to air travellers during this Sallah celebrations.
Operators have also assured travellers that adequate arrangements have been made for additional flights because of expected increase in traffic.
Manager, communication for Dana Air, Kingsley Ezewan says the airline was a budget friendly airline and as such, its fares were pocket friendly.

His counterpart in Arik Air, Banji Ola said many people believed that during festive periods, airlines may increase their fares, allaying their fears, he said Arik Air fares have not changed.
Though while some airlines are assuring fares would not be increased, some passengers have complained a week to sallah that fares have been increased.
As regards airport facilitation, security, safety and comfort of air travellers during the Sallah celebrations and beyond, FAAN says, the VIP Protocol lounges at both the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and General Aviation Terminal, Lagos, have been refurbished to give maximum comfort and value to our customers.
Also, maintenance of conveyor belts and escalators at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos had been completed and functioning optimally.
In a press statement, the General Manager Corporate Affairs FAAN Mrs Henrietta Yakubu says, “in addition, airport security and other logistics have been upgraded and strengthened to provide for the expected increase in passenger traffic in and around our airports”.
According to her, the Agency, had also installed new directional display units to guide travellers, especially new ones, at the airports.
The FAAN spokesperson warned that receiving of dignitaries at restricted areas by security agents and airport officials was prohibited and anyone found wanting would be apprehended and prosecuted.
