The Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Department of Defence Standards and Evaluation to improve the quality and sustainability of military infrastructure across Nigeria.

Major General A. A. Ariyibi, Chief of Defence Standards and Evaluation, endorsed the initiative during a familiarization visit to the NSE headquarters.
He emphasized the critical need for strict compliance with construction and procurement standards to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, President of the NSE, reaffirmed the Society’s commitment to providing technical expertise and innovative engineering solutions tailored to the armed forces’ needs.
She noted that engineering plays a pivotal role in national development and security, highlighting the importance of integrating professional expertise into military infrastructure projects.
