In a groundbreaking move to promote Nigerian cultural tourism, the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has signed a strategic partnership with Eko Hotel, a leading luxury hospitality brand.

NANTA President, Mr. Yinka Folami says, the collaboration aims to elevate the hotel’s cultural tourism offering, “The Theatre of Lights,” to a global stage.

In a press statement, the partnership, according to him, will leverage NANTA’s extensive network and marketing expertise to amplify the reach of Eko Hotel’s unique cultural experiences, which include themed musical theaters, circus and magic shows, grand carnivals, ice skating, and a Hakuna Matata theme park.

“We believe in the power of cultural tourism to drive economic growth and showcase Nigeria’s rich heritage, by partnering with Eko Hotel, we can create unforgettable experiences for visitors from around the world.”

Eko Hotel’s General Manager, Ghassan Fadoul, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the importance of cultural tourism as a key business driver.

“Together with NANTA, we can tell the Nigerian story better and position Nigeria as a must-visit destination,” he said.

The partnership will see NANTA promoting Eko Hotel’s cultural tourism offerings both domestically and internationally, including at the upcoming World Travel Market in London.

As contained in the statement, the “Theatre of Lights” has already gained significant traction, attracting thousands of visitors during the past Christmas holiday season.
