United Nigeria Airlines, has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility and social cohesion with the award of four complimentary return flight tickets at the 2025 Rotary Sports Festival (ROSFEST’25), organized by Rotary District 9112 in Lagos State.
The airline, serving as the official airline sponsor, supported the event aimed at promoting charity, teamwork, and physical fitness among Rotarians.
Adeola Banjoko and Hakeem Amao, the top female and male golfer, received tickets, alongside Halima Oluwakemi Olusesi and Rebecca Omokaro Isoke, who won through a raffle draw at the event’s Awards Dinner and Raffle Night.
United Nigeria Airlines was also recognized with an Award of Excellence for its contributions to the aviation industry, highlighting its role in enhancing connectivity, customer satisfaction, and service innovation in Nigeria’s air travel sector.
Mr. Raphael Uchegbu, Chief Commercial Officer of United Nigeria Airlines, emphasized that the partnership with ROSFEST’25 aligns with the airline’s mission of uniting dreams, cultures, and people.
He praised Rotary District 9112 for its dedication to sports and charity, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to supporting sports and social initiatives nationwide.
Uchegbu stated that the airline’s sponsorship reflects its vision of using aviation for unity and national development, reiterating its dedication to fostering social engagement through corporate social responsibility.
The winners of the return tickets will benefit from a year’s validity, allowing flexible travel across the airline’s domestic network.
