Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has appealed to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for technical assistance in certifying the state’s international airport.
During a courtesy visit to the Acting Director-General of Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo, on Monday this week, Governor Nwifuru outlined the state’s ambitious transportation master plan, which includes the development of a modern airport to serve Ebonyi, Abia, Benue, and parts of Cross River States.
In response, Capt. Najomo expressed the NCAA’s commitment to supporting the project.
He assured the governor of the agency’s readiness to provide necessary technical support and regulatory oversight, aligning with the Federal Government’s policy of easing business operations.
