Dr. Ibrahim Audu, the newly appointed President of the Aeronautical Information Management (AIMAN), hails from Mayo Belwa, Adamawa State. Born on April 2, 1975, he began his educational journey at General Murtala Mohammed College, Yola, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
In 1991, Dr. Audu obtained his SSCE certificate and went on to pursue his undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the Federal University of Technology, Yola. He graduated in 2000-2001.
After completing his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Lagos State, Dr. Audu joined the NAMA AIS Department in May 2003 as a Grade Level 8 officer. He was subsequently posted to Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, where he worked in various capacities, including as the substantive head of department.
Dr. Audu furthered his education by earning a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He later obtained his PhD in Environmental Management from Bayero University, Kano.
Currently, Dr. Audu serves as an Assistant General Manager, AIS Operations, and Head of Department, AIS, at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, Nigeria.
