The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a stern warning to private jet owners holding Permits for Non-Commercial Flights (PNCF).
These permits do not allow them to operate charter services or carry passengers, cargo, or mail for hire.
In a statement, NCAA spokesperson Mr. Micheal Achimugu emphasized that any PNCF holder caught offering commercial flights will face serious consequences. This could include suspension, withdrawal, or even revocation of their permit, as authorized by Section 32 (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 2022.
The NCAA is urging the public to avoid using PNCF holders for commercial purposes, as it’s a violation of regulations.
To enforce compliance, they’ve deployed officials to monitor activities at private jet terminals across airports in Nigeria.
The NCAA is clear: they have zero tolerance for violations of aviation regulations and will continue to take strict action against those who disregard the rules.
