NATCA Gears Up for 52nd AGM in Port Harcourt

…as Aviation Leaders Converge to Discuss Airspace Management and Cost Recovery Plans

The Nigeria Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (NATCA) is holding its 52nd Annual General Meeting, AGM in Port Harcourt, the River State capital.

All heads of Aviation agencies and other stakeholders will be led to the event by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Mr  Festus Keyamo. 

According to a statement by the NATCA President and Secretary, Mr. Abayomi Agoro and Mr. Felix Agbonlahor the theme of this years conference is ‘Airspace Management and Contingent Cost Recovery Plan: Proposing a New Approach’.

The duo disclosed that Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubura, will be the special guest of honor, the royal father of the day is a former board Chairman of FAAN, Chief Sergeant Chidi Awuse while Elder Dr Gbenga Olowo will chair the occasion.

Guest speakers are, Dr Alex Nwuba, Chairman Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of Nigeria, who will deliver a keynote address, Mr George Ureisi, COO Ibom Air and Capt Diepiriye Charles retired DC 10 pilot.

According to the statement, the 52nd AGM/Conference which has been scheduled to hold at the Golden Tulip Hotel Port Harcourt, Wednesday 25th October at 10 am will be Chief hosted by the Managing Director, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, Engr Muhammed Odunowo.

Other heads of Aviation agencies to co-host are the DGCA, Capt. Musa Nuhu of NCAA, Capt Alkali Modibbo NCAT, Mr Kabir Mohammed FAAN, Engr Akin Olateru NSIB, Prof Bako Matazu NiMet and Mr Lawrence Pwajok, Director Air Traffic Services NAMA.
