Mamaj Tv: To showcase and highlight industry positives, beam light in a holistic manner

A online Tv platform where topical issues and latest trends in the Aviation and Tourism industries are discussed has been unveiled.

The platform is christened Mamaj Aviation Tv.

The online Tv is meant to educate, inform and also entertain travel, tourism stakeholders, lovers and would-be lovers of this two sectors.

In her opening speech at the unveiling in Lagos, Managing Director, Mamaj Aviation Consult, Ms. Joy Ogbebo said, the online Tv is also to highlight organisations and personalities who contribute to the operational success of these great industries. 

“We shall be sharing compelling stories of people that will inspire you. Keeping you up to speed with the various career opportunities. Mamaj Tv will beam its light on the industry in a holistic manner. We are happy to tell our stories from within”.

Explaining why she ventured into online Tv, Ms. Ogbebo said, “overtime, its been observed that most media misrepresentations, conflict and issues between customers and service providers in the Aviation and Tourism industries are largely due to lack of knowledge and the right information”. 

She added, “We are happy to tell our stories from within. The world should not hear about the industry only when there’s a negative news, incident or accident.  This industries should not only trend for negative reasons. We want to be able to also showcase and highlight the many positives as well”.

On the reasons for the Tv, Ms. Ogbebo said, “As a matter of fact, the world around us is changing at a rapid pace, and technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. We are witnessing a paradigm shift in the way we consume content, particularly in the realm of television. Gone are the days when we were limited to a handful of channels and constrained by fixed schedules. Today, with the advent of the internet, we are entering a new era of entertainment, one where choice, convenience, and customization take center stage”.

The Director General, Civil Aviation, Capt. Musa Nuhu commended Mamaj for the innovation and her resilience not only in educating the public through her social media platforms but also now with the online Tv platform and the grooming of the next generation of aviation professionals.

The DGCA represented by Mrs. Ikwo Ilo- GM, Consumer Protection, NCAA, pledged the authority’s support in ensuring the success of the platform.

Other dignitaries at the event applauded the idea of an online Tv platform to dish out accurate information on the aviation and tourism industries.
