The Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, ED/COO, Ibom Air, Mr. Uriesi says, it is imperative for enhanced collaboration and growth among aviation sector stakeholders.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of partnerships in emergency response strategies, he stressed the important role the fire and safety personnel play in the aviation ecosystem.
Mr. Uriesi, stated this as contained in a statement at the just concluded 3-day Biennial conference as a special guest speaker of the Nigerian Aviation Fire and Safety Association (NAFSA) in Abuja.
In his presentation, he noted that, the Fire and Safety personnel are often uncelebrated and overlooked, but encouraged them to remain steadfast in the discharge of their duties.
Mr. Uriesi harped on the important role they play in saving lives in the scheme of things, even though they may only be recognized during emergencies.
The conference, he stated is a pivotal event for aviation safety and emergency management professionals, which serves as a platform for robust discussions on advancing emergency response capabilities in line with Nigeria’s aviation roadmap.
“It is a significant opportunity for stakeholders to stay informed about the latest advancements and strategies in the aviation sector”, he added.
The conference which resonated deeply within Nigeria’s aviation community has the theme, “Rationale for Collaborations and Inclusiveness in Emergency Response Geared Towards Achieving the Aviation Roadmap”.
