FG sacks 10 directors of the NCAA

The Federal Government has approved the sack of all the directors in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) with immediate effect.
The sack was communicated to the affected directors through the minister of state for aviation senator Hadi Sirika and delivered by the DG,  NCAA, captain Mukhar Usman.
The  10 directors affected include that of  Finance and Accounts, Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards, Director of Administration) and Director of Licensing.
Others are Directors of Airworthiness),  Air Transport Regulation, Director of Consumer Protection, Director of General Aviation and Human Resources.
The affected directors have been directed  to handover to the next in command in their various directorates who will in the interim take charge of activities in their directorates.
The General Manager, Public Affairs, NCAA, Mr. Sam Adurogboye in a telephone interview  confirmed the development, but declined to give more information.
He said he was aware of the sack of the directors, adding that they were all political appointees.
