…as Adurogboye bows out of service, launches book
The Director General, Civil Aviation, Capt. Musa Nuhu has described Mr. Sam Adurogboye as a dedicated, hardworking and honest staff.
Speaking with aviation reporters at the 60th birthday and book launch of Mr. Sam Adurogboye in Lagos, entitled: ‘Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reporting’, Capt. Nuhu said, as a former General Manager, Public Affairs NCAA, he did his best, adding that, “he’s one of the good guys that we have”.
He said, as a journalist, Adurogboye will still continue to provide the service even outside the government system.
“He came from aviation correspondents. He was one of you and he has come to work for the government, he knows the other side. So, he will go back to you and I think he’s a good resource for you to work with somebody who has the inside information and knows the way things work”.
According to him, Adurogboye is a good resource to the NCAA, the industry and too important to let him go.
“So, we will also continue to work with Sam in the best ways we can do”.
The unveiling of the “Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reporting”, was chaired by Pharmacist Kunle Ekundayo, the Managing Director of Drugfield Pharmaceutical Limited.
The 16-chapter ‘Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reporting’ is a product of years of research and the professional experience of Mr. Samuel Adurogboye, who is a seasoned and an award-winning media manager and public relations practitioner.
In putting together the book, Mr. Adurogboye seeks to enhance the professional proficiency of media and public relations practitioners, aviation lawyers, students etc.
