The Nigerian restaurant industry has just received a major boost with the launch of Graceful Basil Aroma (GBA), a new dining concept that promises to revolutionize the country’s culinary landscape.

The upscale restaurant, located at the Total Grace Oil and Gas Complex, opposite the Lagos Business School (LBS) along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, is the brainchild of Basil Agboarumi, a seasoned entrepreneur and former Managing Director of Skyway Aviation Handling Company.

At the grand launch ceremony, Agboarumi revealed that GBA is designed to offer a unique dining experience that combines the best of Nigerian and African cuisine with international flavors.

The restaurant’s menu features a range of dishes, including its signature Basil Beans, which is a unique twist on traditional Nigerian cuisine.

According to Agboarumi, the restaurant’s focus is on serving nutritious, home-style meals that are both delicious and healthy.

He said, “We want to challenge the notion that healthy food has to be bland and boring”

“At GBA, we believe that food should be both nourishing and flavorful. Our chefs have carefully crafted a menu that combines the best of Nigerian and African ingredients with international flavors to create dishes that are both familiar and exciting.”

The restaurant’s launch was attended by a host of dignitaries, including the Executive Chairman of Sifax Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, who was represented by Wunmi Eniola-Jegede, the Group Coordinating Director for the conglomerate.

Other notable guests included the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO), Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, and Chief Executive Officer, Mediacraft, Mr. John Ehiguese.

The event was also graced by Mr. Chris Aligbe, former Nigerian Airways Public Relation Manager, Professor Rotimi Oladele, Head of the MBA Programme at Lagos State University (LASU), and many classmates of Mr. Basil from Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, signifying the wide network of support for this new culinary endeavour.

GBA’s menu features a range of dishes, including Nigerian and African delicacies such as jollof rice, suya, and egusi soup, as well as international favorites like pasta, pizza, and salads.

The restaurant also offers a range of vegetarian and gluten-free options, making it a great choice for diners with dietary restrictions.

In addition to its flagship location in Lagos, GBA plans to expand to other locations in the country, including the Lagos mainland and Murtala Muhammad Airport.

The restaurant’s goal is to become a leading player in the Nigerian dining scene, offering a unique and exciting dining experience that combines the best of Nigerian and international cuisine.

With its focus on healthy, flavourful food and exceptional service, GBA is poised to become a favorite among foodies and health-conscious diners alike.

Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty Nigerian meal or a light and refreshing salad, GBA has something for everyone.
