Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest network operating carrier, is proud to announce the launch of its four times-weekly flights to Warsaw, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Poland, effective July 1, 2024.
The new route marks a significant milestone in the airline’s network expansion in Europe, enhancing global connectivity and promoting commerce and tourism.
The inaugural flight departed from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in a colorful ceremony attended by the Ambassador of Poland to Ethiopia, high-ranking government officials, and Ethiopian Airlines’ executives.
The new flight will operate according to the following schedule: ET 764: Addis Ababa (ADD) – Athens (ATH) – Warsaw (WAW) – Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday ET 765: Warsaw (WAW) – Athens (ATH) – Addis Ababa (ADD) – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines Group said, “We are thrilled to establish a new connection between Africa and Central Europe with our flight to Warsaw, Poland”.

With the launch of this new flight, Warsaw became Ethiopian Airlines’ 24th destination in Europe, underscoring the airline’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for travel between Africa and Europe.
