….Showcasing National Beauty and Boosting Tourism Revenue
The 10th edition of Nigeria’s longest-standing domestic tourism expo, “Wonders of Nigeria Expo,” has gained the Ministry of Tourism’s endorsement.
After originating as Abuja Bantaba in 2011 and rebranding to Abuja Jabamah in 2021 in partnership with NIHOTOUR, the 2024 edition will be hosted in Lagos.
At a meeting chaired by Minister of Tourism Mrs. Lola Ade-John, Ambassador Ikechi Uko emphasized the need to showcase Nigeria’s beauty, proposing a project to gather 1000 images from various states and photographers.
The Minister pledged to promote these images to enhance the country’s image and boost tourism revenue.
Alhaji Nura Kangiwa from NIHOTOUR highlighted collaborations with Naija7Wonders for training and the popular Naijafoods food tour during the Expo.
The event, exclusive to registered travel professionals, includes the Tourism 100 Club induction, Travellers Awards, and NIHOTOUR’s Naija Food showcase on April 19th at 2 pm.
Abuja Jabamah in Lagos aims to spotlight the National Museum complex and promote museums and monuments in Nigeria for tourism.
The Expo is a joint effort by Seven Wonders of Nigeria and Akwaaba African Travel Market.
