Susan Akporiaye reelected President NANTA, preaches unity

Members of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies, NANTA, has re-elected Mrs. Susan Akporiaye for a second term of two years to pilot the affairs of the Association.

At its Annual General Meeting, AGM held in Kano with the theme: ‘Antitrust: Opportunities Available for the protection of the Nigeria Travel Market’, witnessed members applauding the style of leadership of Mrs. Akporiaye who was returned unopposed.

In a brief speech at the gala night to draw the AGM to a successful end, the NANTA reelected president, thanked members for believing in her and for their support in taking NANTA to greater heights.

She again called for their unflinching support to achieving a rebranded NANTA through its advocacy pursuit, protection of the business and welfare of members.

“We want to see that display of unity, that display of oneness irrespective of where you are from, whether from the northern zone, eastern zone west zone or Lagos zone, we are one NANTA”.

“I appeal to you dear colleagues, this bond of unity should continue, let nothing divide this unity”.

Also elected at the AGM are, kabiru Maiwada as First National Deputy President, Chima James Ihe as Second Deputy President.

Others are, Yinka ladipo, was returned opposed as  Financial Secretary, Olatokunbo Dagunduro was elected as Treasurer while Yinka Olapade was returned opposed as internal auditor and Mrs Lola Adewole as Public Relations Officer also unopposed.
