Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s preeminent aviation group, has once again cemented its status as the continent’s leading carrier, being named ‘Best Airline in Africa’ by SKYTRAX at the 2025 World Airline Awards.
This marks an unprecedented eighth consecutive year the airline has received the highly coveted accolade.
The announcement was made during a distinguished ceremony held at the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget Airport, an event widely recognized as the “Oscars of the Aviation Industry,” where global airlines were celebrated for their outstanding achievements in service, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Beyond the top regional honor, Ethiopian Airlines also garnered several other significant recognitions, including ‘Best Economy Class in Africa,’ ‘Best Business Class in Africa,’ and ‘Best Business Class Onboard Catering in Africa.’
These prestigious awards collectively highlight the airline’s unwavering dedication to providing world-class service and its strategic investments in modernizing its fleet, fostering innovation, and prioritizing sustainability.
They further stressed the airline’s consistent commitment to enhancing the customer experience and achieving operational excellence across its extensive network of over 140 international destinations.
