SIFAX Group, in collaboration with Changi Airports International from Singapore, is engaging in discussions with the Federal Government and Lagos State government to enhance Nigeria’s aviation sector.
Already a key player in aviation ground handling through its subsidiary SAHCO Plc, the consortium aims to explore additional opportunities such as aviation terminal management and airline development.
In recent meetings with Vice President Kasim Shettima, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo, the Group reiterated its commitment to fostering sector growth, emphasizing its capacity to positively impact job creation, tourism, and economic development.
Chairman Dr. Taiwo Afolabi chairman of the consortium highlighted SIFAX Group’s successful track record in turning around enterprises for profitability, exemplified by SAHCO Plc and the transformation of Tin Can Island Port.
The collaboration with Changi Airports International aims to replicate global success in aviation terminal management, with Governor Sanwo-Olu commending SIFAX Group’s contributions to the state’s economic growth.
