Senate confirms Adamu Abdullahi Executive Commissioner FCCPC

The National Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu as the new Executive Commissioner, Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Council, FCCPC.

The confirmation was announced today by the senate President, Ahmed Lawan on the floor of the red chamber.

His appointment by President Mohammadu Buhari was made know in a letter sent to the senate for confirmation on the 30th September, 2020.

Before his appointment and subsequent confirmation as the FCCPC Executive Commissioner, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu was the Director Consumer Protection, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA for 11 years and spokesman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN for many years too in the agency and had carried out different assignments in service to fatherland in his State of origin Bauchi State.
