Renowned cultural tourism mogul and administrator, Olusegun Runsewe, has pledged to host a grand dinner in honor of the recent recipients of the Pioneer Tourism Journalism Leadership Award, including Frank Meke, Okorie Uguru, George Lucky, and Andrew Okungbowa.

In a congratulatory letter to Frank Meke, who was honored by the Institute of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ITPN) at the National Transportation Summit Awards, Runsewe expressed his admiration for Meke’s dedication and unwavering commitment to the tourism industry.

“You have tirelessly worked through the years, facing numerous challenges to become a true conscience of the industry, we are indebted to your courage and risk-taking.”

The former Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) also commended the organizers of the award, led by Chief Abiodun Odunsanwo, for recognizing the contributions of these distinguished journalists.

He emphasized the importance of such accolades in uplifting the Nigerian cultural tourism sector.

Runsewe further announced his plans to host a post-award dinner in Abuja, where the awardees will be celebrated and honored.

“This event will be a testament to the significance of your work and a platform to recognize the invaluable contributions of the Nigerian cultural tourism press,” he added.
