Mr. Mensah says one of the key strategies employed by the Royal Senchi Hotel to attract and retain patronage is its commitment to rebranding and refreshing its brand, starting with a rebrand of its logo, staff uniform, and overall aesthetics.
In addition to this, the hotel invests in eco-friendly materials, the use of traditional thatch roofs with more modern and durable materials, replaced almost on a yearly basis to complement the hotel’s overall beauty.

The sales and marketing manager emphasised that the hotel recently polished its floors to a high shine, creating a sense of luxury and sophistication that is unmatched by many other hotels in the region.
This rebrand and upgrades, the executive director, Mr. Nana Kwame Yeboah-Afari said, cost a lot of money, explaining that investing in upgrading the amenities and services is aimed to ensure that its guests have a truly unforgettable experience.
He also highlighted the hotel’s eco-friendly initiatives, including its sewage water treatment plant, which uses reverse osmosis technology to treat water and reduce waste as well as the use of solar power to heat water and a solar farm that generates 30% of its power.
From energy-efficient lighting to recycling programmes, it is evident that the resort is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of its surroundings for future generations.
The hotel’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in its conservation efforts. Yeboah-Afari mentioned the hotel’s partnership with the Senchi Nature Park, which is a 37-acre conservation site that includes walk trails, picnic spots, and labeled trees with medicinal values.
Mensah said Royal Senchi places a strong emphasis on marketing, “The hotel has undergone a brand refresh, introducing new logos, colors, and uniforms. The hotel’s social media presence is also one of the most powerful in Ghana, with engaging content and regular updates”.

In addition to these efforts, Royal Senchi hotel and resort has received numerous international awards, including being named the Best Hotel in Ghana by the World Travel Awards for two consecutive years, Mensah stated that, the hotel’s marketing team is always looking for new opportunities to promote the hotel and its services.
