Scheduled to commence at 9:00 AM at the Providence Hotel in GRA Ikeja, Lagos, the pivotal event will gather top-tier aviation stakeholders from across Nigeria and beyond to engage in crucial discussions centered on the theme: “Aviation Financing in Nigeria: The Risks, Opportunities and Prospects.”

This year’s conference marks a significant milestone, offering a vital platform for policymakers, regulators and airline operators.

Others are, financial institutions, airport managers, insurance firms, service providers, and other key players to collectively address the critical challenges and explore the potential within Nigeria’s aviation landscape.

Adding a special dimension to the event, LAAC will unveil a commemorative publication titled “Celebrating Champions of Aviation Development.”

This publication will serve to recognize the individuals, organizations, and state governments that have demonstrated transformative leadership and made substantial contributions to the advancement of the aviation sector since Nigeria’s return to democratic governance in 1999.

Chairman of the LAAC Conference Committee, Mr. Wole Shadare, emphasized the importance of the upcoming gathering, stating, “Our 29th annual conference transcends the typical industry event; it is a crucial forum for meaningful dialogue and a unifying force for charting the future trajectory of Nigerian aviation through sustainable financing and investment frameworks. We are particularly honored to recognize those who have profoundly impacted aviation development over the past two decades.”

The conference agenda will encompass a broad spectrum of vital issues for Nigeria’s aviation growth, including airport infrastructure development, aircraft leasing and financing mechanisms, funding for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities, aviation fuel supply and pricing.

Regulatory reforms and consumer protection, navigational infrastructure and airspace management, as well as insurance, risk management, and sectoral investment strategies.

Reflecting the critical importance of financing for sectoral advancement, prominent Nigerian banks and financial institutions have confirmed their active participation in this year’s conference.

Also, all aviation regulatory bodies, both domestic and international airlines, ground handling companies, travel agencies, and allied service providers have pledged their full support and participation in the event.

Over the years, the LAAC Annual Conference has evolved into a premier assembly for the aviation industry, playing a significant role in shaping policy, highlighting investment opportunities, and fostering greater collaboration among stakeholders within Nigeria’s aviation value chain.
