Billionaire businessman Prince Arthur Eze has pledged his support to the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) in revitalizing the Junior Engineers, Technologists, and Scientists (JETS) Club in secondary schools.
The partnership, announced during a courtesy visit by NSE President Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, will see Prince Eze contribute substantially to the JETS Club revival project.
The initiative aims to nurture young talents in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through national competitions.
According to Prince Nze, “This is a critical step towards ensuring a brighter future for Nigeria’s engineering and technological sectors. By investing in our youth, we are investing in the nation’s progress.”
The JETS Club, a popular extracurricular activity in Nigerian secondary schools, has faced challenges in recent years due to a decline in funding and interest.
The NSE’s revival project seeks to address these issues and re-establish the club as a platform for young people to explore their passion for STEM.
Prince Eze’s support will provide crucial funding for the competitions and activities of the JETS Club, aligning with the NSE’s strategic agenda to promote STEM education and secure Nigeria’s future as a technological powerhouse.
