The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has taken a significant step towards fostering technological advancement in Nigeria by launching a new training program focused on Data Analytics and Software Development.
The program, designed to equip young engineers with essential digital skills, was officially launched by Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, the President of NSE.
In her keynote address, Engr. Oguntala emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “The NSE is committed to empowering Nigerian engineers with the tools they need to thrive in the digital age. This training program is a testament to our dedication to fostering innovation and driving technological progress within our nation.”
According to the NSE President, by investing in this training program, the NSE aims to bridge the gap between traditional engineering education and the demands of the modern tech-driven world.
The program, which attracted over 400 applicants, saw 279 individuals selected to participate.
The participants will receive hands-on training in data analytics and software development, equipping them with the skills to address complex engineering challenges.
