Africa Aviation and Aerospace University’s Registrar, Mustapha Abdullahi Sheikh, and Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile’s Business Development Manager, Farbrice Fabre, has formalized a significant collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This collaborative effort is the result of the visionary leadership of Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, in seeking mutually beneficial partnerships in the aviation sector.
The MoU solidifies the commitment of both AAAU and ENAC to enhance cooperation in higher education, focusing on aviation and aerospace.
Representing Nigeria and France respectively, the institutions express sincere interest in utilizing their collective expertise and resources for academic advancement, research collaboration, and student engagement.
Mustapha Abdullahi Sheikh, AAAU’s Registrar, emphasized the pivotal moment, stating, “Our collaboration with ENAC marks a significant step in achieving excellence in aviation education.
Partnering with one of the world’s leading aviation institutions will open new opportunities for our students and faculty, contributing to the global aviation industry’s advancement.”
Key collaboration areas outlined in the MoU include training services, collaborative curriculum development, virtual lecture delivery, joint research projects, workshops, shared resources, and capacity-building programs.
The implementation of these initiatives is set to begin after the completion of a mutually agreed Technical Cooperation Agreement.
Farbrice Fabre, ENAC’s Business Development Manager, expressed optimism, saying, “The signing of this MoU strengthens ties between our institutions, fostering excellence in aviation education. We anticipate a fruitful partnership benefiting students, faculty, and the aviation industry as a whole.”
