The Nigeria Football Federation,NFF has announced GEO Travels and Tours as the official partner for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The travel and tour company is to ensure all football enthusiasts and soccer loving fans going for the World Cup to support and cheer the super Eagles enjoy seamless facilitation and comfort in terms of travel and accommodation for the duration of their stay in Russia.
At a news conference in Lagos, representative of the travel company, Alex Ekeoma said GEO travels was poised to change the face of travel and tourism in Nigeria with the mouthwatering packages put together for Nigerians and the supporters to choose from.
He noted that as low as N500,000, people choose from the customized packages and can travel to Russia to watch the World Cup.
According to him,”Nigerians will also have an option of choosing from our number of customized packages that gives them flexibility of choosing to see the first, second or third game only or a combination of the first and second games, second and third, or all three games”.
The conference tagged: Road to Russia is poised to connect football- loving Nigerians to the Super Eagles when they face their counter- parts in Russia.
Explaining further, Ekeoma said,” it is important to make the Super Eagles feel the presence of home support by turning up a massive crowd in Russia. GEO travels and tours will collaborate with the local football loving community to five our full support to the Nigerian football national team by flying proud supporters to Russia to cheer on and support the Super Eagles”.
In his address of welcome, the elated president, NFF, Ahmadu Pinnick said the Football Federation was happy to partner GEO travel and tours to take Nigerians to Russia and ensure Nigeria was well represented at the event.
He said they were convinced that they had given the job to the professionals who would do the job perfectly.
NFF president represented by the NFF 2nd Vice Chairman, Shehu Dikko said the desire of all Nigerians was to see the Super eagles go far in the game and win and as such imperative to get a company like Geo Travel to ensure that happens taking Nigerians to the event in comfort and style to cheer the eagles.
He urged Nigerians to be prepared to have fun in Russia as the eagles were fully prepared took to fly the Nigerian flag in Russia.
Also speaking the Head, Business Development, GEO Travels and Tours, Damilola Osikoya said,” GEO travels and tours aligning with the NFF is the company’s own way of making travelling to the World Cup as easy as a phone call”.
Osikoya added that the company would also adopt a flexible payment plan for Nigerians hoping to book now and pay on a later date.
