Staff of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA on resumption of work this New Year gathered to offer prayers to God for an accident free year in 2018.
The staff, both Muslims and Christians came together at the NCAA headquarters and as usual prayed against plane crash and accidents in the aviation industry.
Full with smiles, looking healthy and well rested after the holidays, the staff who were happy to be alive to witness another new year, offered prayers of thanksgiving for the NCAA, the Aviation industry, prayer for repentance and forgiveness of Sins.
Other prayer points included prayer for the Management of the NCAA for God to continue to give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding to pilots the affairs of the organization, prayer against security attack on the Aviation Industry and prayer for good health of all staff and rebuke any untimely death among them.
Others are prayer for peace of the nation, Nigeria and the special prayer for those who are ill and families of those who lost their loved ones in death in the year 2017.
In his Goodwill message, the Director General, NCAA, Captain Muktar Usman wished the staff a happy New Year and urged them to work assiduously this year again to achieve another accident free year in 2018.
The DG NCAA who was represented by the Director, Consumer Protection, Mallam Adamu Abdullahi promised to sustain the safety record of 2017 and improve in other areas.
