The Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) and MTN have joined forces to enhance Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport’s transition to international standards by introducing free, limitless Wi-Fi access.
This initiative complements Governor Seyi Makinde’s substantial investments in the airport’s development.
Now, travelers at Ibadan Airport can enjoy free Wi-Fi on their phones or computers, thanks to the five access points within the terminal, providing coverage over 500 meters.
This Internet service is robustly supported by two 5.5KVA Hybrid online inverters, thirty-two 380-watt solar panels, and two battery racks with sixteen 12V/200 Amps solar recharge units.
