The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 International Arts and Crafts (INAC) Expo in Abuja.
This prestigious event will celebrate Nigeria’s diverse artistic heritage and foster economic growth.
To kick off the Expo, NCAC will host a pre-INAC dinner on October 10, 2024, in Abuja. This event will bring together members of the diplomatic community and key stakeholders to build anticipation for the main event.
The 17th edition of INAC, scheduled from November 18th to 30th, will be held concurrently with NAFEST at the Arts and Crafts Village. The theme, “Networking Nigerian Crafts to the World,” underscores the Expo’s aim to connect Nigerian artisans with global markets.
Visitors to INAC 2024 can expect a breathtaking display of Nigerian artistry, including:
Textiles: Handwoven fabrics, Ankara prints, and intricate embroidery
Sculpture: Wooden carvings, metalwork, and ceramics
Painting: Contemporary and traditional styles
Jewelry: Beads, silver, and gold pieces
Pottery: Functional and decorative items
Photography: Artistic and documentary imagery.
Beyond the exhibition, attendees will enjoy live performances, workshops, and cultural demonstrations that showcase Nigeria’s vibrant heritage.
