The Airline Operators of Nigeria, AON and Industry leaders have praised the newly launched Directorate of Air Transport Regulation (DATR) Electronic Portal (E-Portal) describing it as a testament to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA’s dedication to innovation and efficiency.
CEO of Air Peace Mr. Allen Onyema applauded the Acting Director General, Civil Aviation Capt. Chris Najomo’s commitment to transparency and adherence to global aviation standards.
Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines Prof. Obiora Okonkwo also commended Capt. Najomo’s leadership saying, with the E-Portal, the NCAA is poised to take a major leap forward in its efforts to modernize and streamline aviation processes, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the sector.
The Directorate of Air Transport Regulation (DATR) Electronic Portal (E-Portal), unveiled on December 2, 2024, at the NCAA headquarters in Abuja, marks a major milestone in the authority’s efforts to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
The Acting DG Capt. Najomo led the launch, describing the E-Portal as a single-window platform designed to modernize and optimize processes and operations of the DATR.
The portal is aligned with international best practices, aimed at providing a seamless electronic interface for stakeholders in the aviation ecosystem.
Capt. Najomo emphasized the transformative potential of the E-Portal, highlighting its ability to define a new era of digital aviation processes characterized by innovation, efficiency, competence, and productivity.
He called for the adoption of the portal, underscoring its impact on the aviation sector.
The E-Portal, showcased by Director of DATR Mrs. Olayinka Babaoye-Iriobe, offers features such as process optimization, data centralization, real-time tracking, and improved transparency.
