The Acting Director-General, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Chris Najomo, has commended staff for their hard work and dedication in 2024.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of excellence in the new year.
Speaking at the new year celebration and goodwill message to staff at the NCAA Headquater’s Annex in Lagos, Capt. Najomo represented by the Director, Operations Licensing and Training Capt. Donald Spiff, highlighted the achievements of the NCAA in 2024, including navigating challenges, achieving milestones, and upholding its commitment to aviation safety.
He also acknowledged management’s efforts in addressing staff welfare through promotions, an expanded organogram, and the resolution of relocation and housing arrears.

As the NCAA celebrates its 25th anniversary, Capt. Najomo urged staff to reflect on their contributions and recommit themselves to the organization’s vision of ensuring safe and efficient air transport in Nigeria.
He emphasized that staff are the backbone of the organization and encouraged them to continue to give their best, embrace collaboration, and uphold the high standards that define the NCAA.
Capt. Najomo concluded by wishing all staff a prosperous and fulfilling New Year and expressed confidence in the NCAA’s continued success in the years to come.
