The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority,NCAA, says it has commenced full scale investigation into the viral video of an Helicopter that landed on the Benin Ore highway over the weekend.
The NCAA General Manager, Public Affairs, Sam Adurogboye, in a release says the investigation is to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the unscheduled diversion.
He said the Aviation Authorit is fully aware of the viral video of the Helicopter and soon as the investigation is concluded, the outcome will be made public.
“Initial reports indicate that the Helicopter is owned by Tropical Arctic Logistics Limited, with registration number 5N – BVQ and aircraft type AW139”.
“The Pilot was compelled to land between Benin and Ore in an unscheduled diversion to pick up someone”, the statement added.
