The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has marked its 25th anniversary, with the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, commending the sector’s remarkable progress over the years.

Speaking at the anniversary celebration in Abuja, Keyamo highlighted the agency’s achievements, including enhanced supervisory measures, safety and security oversight, and the growth of indigenous airlines.

He also acknowledged the challenges faced by the sector, but praised the efforts of past administrations, the present administration, and stakeholders for overcoming them.

The Minister recognized the contributions of visionaries, past and present, who have worked tirelessly to build an aviation industry that meets global standards.

Keyamo emphasized the importance of the aviation sector in national development, facilitating trade, tourism, investment, and cultural exchange.

He urged stakeholders not to rest on their laurels, but to continue striving for greater achievements in the interest of the public.

The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that will elevate the aviation sector and enhance infrastructure and transportation.

He expressed gratitude to all those who have contributed to the NCAA’s success over the past 25 years and looked forward to even greater accomplishments in the future.

He presented awards to awardees, symbolizing excellence, dedication, and public service.
