The President of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), Mr. Yinka Folami, has arrived in Istanbul with members of his executive council for a five-day business engagement with Turkish Airlines and key players in the Turkish travel trade industry.
The high-level meeting, initiated by Turkish Airlines, aims to strengthen commercial ties between the airline and NANTA, Nigeria’s largest body of travel trade professionals.
Discussions are expected to focus on exploring new trade relationships, enhancing Turkish Airlines’ presence in the Nigerian travel market, and identifying innovative ways to generate revenue for NANTA members.
According to Folami, the initiative signals a strong commitment by Turkish Airlines to invest in the Nigerian travel ecosystem.
He described the collaboration as a forward-looking relationship designed to create mutual benefits for both parties and contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s travel trade sector.
“This is a relationship made for the future, carefully curated to make the Nigerian travel trade market strong and robust. We are here to listen and learn. It is an opportunity that we cannot toy with because it is a huge investment in our future by Turkish Airlines, and we hope our other principals will emulate this transformative milestone.”
The NANTA delegation includes senior executive members representing various zones across Nigeria, with a shared goal of fostering international collaboration and expanding the association’s global footprint through strategic alliances.
