The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has lauded the Director General, Civil Aviation, Captain Chris Najomo, for his significant contributions to the transformation of the Nigerian aviation sector.
In a congratulatory letter, dated February 19th, 2025 and signed by NANTA President, Mr. Yinka Folami, the travel trade body acknowledged Captain Najomo’s dedication, commitment, and resilience, attributing recent advancements in the industry to his leadership.
NANTA specifically highlighted the introduction of a digital portal for consumer protection and engagement, improved responsiveness to aviation professionals, promotion of fair practices, capacity building initiatives, and enhanced consumer protection as key milestones achieved under Captain Najomo’s tenure.
Mr. Folami emphasized NANTA’s commitment to supporting the NCAA’s vision for a prosperous aviation sector, expressing confidence in Captain Najomo’s ability to drive further progress for all stakeholders.
He further urged the Director General to maintain his efforts in guiding the Nigerian travel trade towards achieving global best practices and competitiveness.
