The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA has reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening collaboration with the Nigerian Airforce, aiming to enhance airspace management safety and air security across Nigeria.
During a visit to the Nigerian Airforce Headquarters in Abuja, NAMA’s Managing Director, Engr. Ahmed Farouk, engaged in discussions with the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar.
According to Abdullahi Musa, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Engr. Farouk expressed gratitude for the existing cooperation and eagerness to explore new avenues for mutual benefit.
He emphasized the pivotal role of enhanced collaboration in improving airspace management, safety, and security nationwide.
Air Marshal Hassan highlighted the importance of maintaining a steadfast commitment to the partnership, stressing its significant impact on the safety and efficiency of Nigeria’s aviation sector.
He urged NAMA’s cooperation in achieving the final accreditation of the Air Traffic School Training Centre in Kaduna, noting its potential to strengthen manpower and capacity.
