The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Plc) has been awarded the prestigious Aviation Ground Handling Company of the Year Award by Transport Day Media.
This recognition celebrates NAHCO’s exceptional contributions to the development of Nigeria’s aviation sector and its outstanding operational performance throughout 2024.
The award was presented to NAHCO Plc on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Radisson BLU Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, during the Transport Day Annual Lecture.
The event also acknowledged other key players in the Nigerian transportation sector for their significant roles in fostering sustainable development.
Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Transport Day Media, Mr. Frank Kintum, lauded NAHCO’s consistent strides over the years.

This latest accolade adds to a series of recognitions NAHCO has received this year.
The company was previously honored with the Champion of the Industry Award by the industry’s regulator, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and the Aviation Handling Company of the Year Award from Air Transport Quarterly.
Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, NAHCO Plc, Dr. Sola Obabori, expressed the company’s delight in receiving the award.
