The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN has carried out a mild reshuffle with the redeployment of the Regional Airport Manager, South West Airports Mr. Felix Akinbinu to the Airfield Services Department.
His redeployment in coming on the heels of the theft of runaway lightings at the Murtala Mohammad Airport, Lagos.
In a memo announcing the redeployment signed by the Managing Director, FAAN, Mr. Kabir Mohammed, Mr. Akinbinu is to hand over to Mr. Sunday Ayodele who was before now General Manager Airfield services on or before July 14, 2023.
It would be recalled that runway lightings were carted away by thieves at the Murtala Mohammad Airport Ikeja recently leading to the suspension of some FAAN officials.
