A Yola bound via Abuja flight this afternoon(28/2/17) was aborted following the collapse of its cooling system while taxing to take off from the Lagos airport.
The pilot of the Boeing 737-500 aircraft carrying over a 100 passengers had to abort take off, disembark the passengers and transferred them to another aircraft.
Media Consultant to the Airline, Mr Obuke Oyibhota , who confirmed the incident said there was no cause for alarm, adding that a team of engineers were taking a look at the aircraft with a view to ascertain what happened.
This incident is coming barely 24 hours after another domestic airline aborted flight yesterday due to a tyre burst.
