…..as NANTA empowers travel agencies with business growth strategies
The Lagos Zone of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) recently organized a Business Workshop aimed at equipping travel agencies with the necessary tools to thrive in today’s fast-evolving market.
The event featured a keynote presentation by the Group Managing Director of Finchglow Holdings, Mr. Bankole Bernard, who shared valuable insights on strategic business development for travel agencies.
During the session, Mr. Bernard emphasized the importance of structure, digitization, and long-term thinking in the travel sector, drawing from his over two decades of experience.
He stressed that digital transformation is crucial for growth, and that intuition has its limits, while growth is driven by data, powered by automation, and sustained by strategic partnerships.
The workshop highlighted the need for operational efficiency and technology adoption, which are no longer optional but essential for survival and scale.
Mr. Bernard’s presentation was backed by a case study of Finchglow Holdings, a respected travel group in Nigeria, which has six subsidiaries spanning business and corporate travel, tourism, education, and logistics.
The event also stressed the importance of professionalism in the travel industry, a principle that Mr. Bernard has championed throughout his leadership journey.
The workshop concluded with a call to action, as Mr. Bernard aptly put it: “The best growth doesn’t come from reacting fast, but from thinking ahead and leading strong.”
The event is an evidence to NANTA’s commitment to empowering travel professionals and promoting industry standards, as evident in the relaunch of the NANTA Membership Identification Card, a symbol of accountability and professionalism.
The workshop provided a platform for travel agencies to gain valuable insights and practical knowledge to drive growth and success in today’s competitive market.
