The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Mr Festus Keyamo, will lead major industry stakeholders on July 4th, 2024 to launch A book titled NIGERIA’S AVIATION SECTOR: PEOPLE, BEHAVIOURS BEHIND THE PERFORMANCES”.
Authored by Albinus Chiedu, a journalist from AVIATION MONITOR, the book launch will take place at Golfview Hotels, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos at 11:00 AM.
Mrs. Okiemute Chiedu, the project coordinator from Aviation Monitor, announced that Mr. Keyamo will be the Special Guest of Honour.
The Guests of Honour will include Capt. Chris Najomo, Acting Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority; Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria and Engr. Farouk Umar, Managing Director of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency.
Others are; Prof. Charles Anosike, Director General of the Nigeria Meteorological Agency and Permanent Representative of Nigeria at WMO; Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, Managing Director of SAHCO Plc; and Mr. Indira Gupta, Group Managing Director of NAHCO, among others.
The event will also be attended by Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, and Dr. Gbenga Olowo, Chairman of Interguide Group, along with several other dignitaries.
Dr. Richard Aisuebeogun, former Managing Director of FAAN, will review the 11-chapter book.
The book, a result of comprehensive research, offers a historical perspective and advocates for proper behaviors and conduct in both the public and private segments of Nigeria’s aviation industry. It highlights the dangers posed by poor decisions and actions on the future generation of aviation stakeholders in the country.
